By his real name Othman Elalaoui, Plus is a 23 years old one-man band performer, rapper, songwriter and producer based in Paris.
He started music by playing guitar and writing acoustic songs. Through the years, his hip-hop inspirations led him to write rap songs and get into trap and hip hop beatmaking. He has many old-school inspirations but he mainly follow the new-generation artists such as : Russ, Drake, J Cole, Tash Sultana, FKJ, Riles, Jaden Smith…
Plus enjoys writing trap songs and at the same time he loves making instant beats and live performing hip hop songs mixed with blues and funky vibes.
Let’s say that Plus had his first contact with the Hip Hop Culture through New Style Dance, Popping and Bones Breaking. At the age of 12, Plus learned his first dance moves and became a Hip Hop dancer. He joined many different crews and won many different local dance battles.
He also had his first contact with music through guitar which was the first instrument he learned. He played his first rock and blues riffs and kept developing his skills as a one man band by using looping pedals and Ableton.
He also performed with many other artists such as Anys and Pablo the Cobz in La Bellevilloise and other venues in Paris. Since October 2019, Plus perfoms as a one man band every Friday evening in Le Comptoir Parmentier in Paris.
He also takes part of an artistic collective called Neptune.
